American Oak Cask HH0339 was distilled in June of 2000 and bottled in October of 2017, making it a whopping seventeen years old. This 200L American Oak ex-bourbon cask produced only 244 bottles. A prime example of our most awarded style, this is also one of the oldest whiskies we've ever released and a rare opportunity to try an Australian whisky of this age.
With a rich caramel and musk nose; bright spice and stewed apples on the palate with a whiff of struck match, and finishing on lingering spice and charred oak.
"Another cracking example of how our older whiskies are holding up in the Tassie climate, HH0339 is perfect for lovers of both single malt and bourbon whiskies."
