Coffee cake and tiramisu add a touch of decadence, complemented by the warm, nutty scents of coconut slice, walnut, and pecan pie. Earthy and sweet elements like buttery roasted pumpkin, brown sugar, and dried cranberries add depth, while a cereal note akin to Rice Bubbles provides a comforting familiarity. Spicy white pepper from the oak and vanilla, custard, and cloves from the pre-fill cask round out the profile. Palate

The palate is exceptionally smooth from the first sip, with a seamless transition that belies the spice suggested by the nose. It fills the mouth with a dense, thick texture that is both satisfying and luxurious. The sweetness of fruit and honey is prominent, accented by a touch of cinnamon. Ripe apples and sweet orange dominate the fruity profile, while golden raisins and lightly toasted sourdough or warm scones add a comforting, baked quality. Cherries, lime cordial, and blackcurrant jelly contribute additional layers of flavour, making each sip a new discovery.

The finish is held together with an excellent waxy grip, maintaining the whisky's presence long after the initial wave of intensity. Sweet apple pie filling, coconut shavings, and Cherry Ripe merge with chocolate-coated raisins and a strong cola note.
